CUSD Volunteer Requirements
All Eaton volunteers must have their fingerprints and a current negative tuberculous (TB) test on file with Cupertino Union School District (CUSD). Please visit the CUSD Volunteering page for more information on how to become eligible to volunteer within CUSD.
Ways to Get Involved
All of our events simply cannot take place without the support of our Eaton parents. Please take a moment to sign-up for any volunteer opportunities that might interest you during the school year via Konstella. Volunteering with the PTO is a great way to be involved in the school activities and be a positive role model to the students! A successful year at Eaton starts with parent volunteers like you.
Volunteer in Your Child’s Classroom
Become a Room Parent or a Project Cornerstone volunteer and see the difference you make! You can also team up with another parent and do it together! Sign up via Konstella.
Volunteer at an Event
This is a great way to get involved for as little or as much as you can. Check our PTO Calendar for upcoming events. Sign up to serve as a volunteer for specific events via Konstella prior to each event. We hope to see you there!
Serve on the PTO Board
The PTO Board is a friendly and supportive group of parent volunteers, teachers and staff. Consider joining Executive Board or become a Committee Member to ensure the Eaton PTO continues to thrive and create many enrichment opportunities for our students. Room Parents
This job entails assisting the teacher and coordinating classroom events, such as classroom parties, grade level events such as field trips, school events, and other activities throughout the year. Check out our Room Parents page for more information.
Project Cornerstone
Project Cornerstone teaches children about respect, tolerance, peaceful conflict resolution, caring and friendship through books read by parent volunteers. This job entails attending a monthly volunteer sync and reading inspiring books to students in the classroom once a month.
Yearbook
Be part of a team to help capture photos of Eaton students during the year and at special Eaton PTO sponsored events for inclusion in the school yearbook.
Teacher and Staff Appreciation
Assist the PTO with various tasks from collecting donations from local businesses, volunteering time during the event, setting up the event, cleaning up after the event, helping with swag bags, etc.
Halloween Boo Bash
Assist the PTO with various tasks from collecting donations from local businesses, volunteering time during the event, setting up the event, cleaning up after event, helping with swag bags, etc.
Fun Run
We need a strong team to get the most out of this fundraiser. Help will mainly be needed on the day of the Fun Run doing various tasks to ensure success.
STEAM Fair
Assist in coordinating this event with teachers and PTO from set up, execution and clean up.
International Night
Assist in coordinating this event with teachers and PTO from set up, execution and clean up.
